Since I last posted a photo I’ve stopped using any of the automatic settings on the fancy camera that my husband bought for me last Christmas. There have been growing pains. I had this idea that I would learn manual and then I would have some kind of advantage when I eventually switched back. But I couldn’t do it. I’m just not an automatic settings kind of person, I guess. So I delete a lot of pictures.

Here’s current Stella, almost five months old.

We learned today that Milo has a healthy respect for the heavy machinery he loves so much. He kept his head down like that all around the yard, saying “watch head, ” and refused to sit up in the seat to have his picture taken. ”No drive.”
